The Altman Building
135 West 18th Street, NYC
The Altman Building, an official NYC landmark in the heart of Chelsea, was originally built as a carriage house for the elegant B. Altman’s Department Store. During 1998 the space was restored to its original grandeur with 135 feet of mahogany and glass frontage and elegant carriage-house arched doorways leading to the main 10,000-foot space proper.

SUBWAY LINES

• Take the No. 1 Train to 18th Street and proceed east to 125/135 West 18th Street
• Take the No. 2 or 3 train to 14th Street. Walk up to 18th Street and 7th Avenue. Turn right onto 18th Street and proceed to 125/ 135 West 18th Street.
• Take the A/C/E trains to 14th Street. Walk up on 8th Avenue to 18th Street and turn right onto 18th Street. Proceed, crossing over 7th Avenue, to 125/135 West 18th Street.
• Take the 4/5/6/Q/R/N/W trains to 14th Street (Union Square). Walk uptown (north) and west to 18th Street and 6th Avenue. Proceed west to 125/135 West 18th Street.
• Take V/F/L trains to 14th Street. Walk uptown (north) on 6th Avenue to 18th Street. Turn left onto 18th Street and proceed to 125/135 West 18th Street.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

A. New Jersey
Take the George Washington Bridge to the Henry Hudson Parkway South (Downtown-bound). Turn left onto 26th Street. Proceed on 26th Street to 7th Avenue. Go to 18th Street and turn left, proceed to 125/135 West 18th Street. OR From the Lincoln Tunnel, proceed to 34th Street. On 34th Street, turn right upon 7th Avenue, and continue downtown (south) on 7th Avenue to 18th Street; turn left off 7th Avenue onto 18th Street. Proceed to 125/135 West 18th Street.
B. Westchester & Upstate New York
Take the Henry Hudson Parkway South to 26th Street and turn left onto 26th Street. Proceed to 7th Avenue and turn right onto 7th Avenue. Proceed downtown on 7th Avenue to 18th street and turn left onto 18th Street. Proceed to 125/135 West 18th Street.
C. Long Island
Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE: Route 495) to the Queens Midtown Tunnel. Go straight across 37th Street to 7th Avenue and turn left onto 7th Avenue. Proceed downtown on 7th Avenue to 18th Street and turn left onto 18th Street. Proceed to 125/135 West 18th Street.
