The Altman Building,

The Altman Building, an official NYC landmark in the heart of Chelsea, was originally built as a carriage house for the elegant B. Altman’s Department Store. During 1998 the space was restored to its original grandeur with 135 feet of mahogany and glass frontage and elegant carriage-house arched doorways leading to the main 10,000 foot space proper.
